A powerful network to finish what Martin Luther King jr. started.

CHALLENGE

MLK III and Arndrea Waters King envisioned The Drum Major Coalition (DMC) as a powerful movement to continue the work of Martin Luther King Jr. and address the “three evils of society.” Our challenge was to create a brand that could honor this iconic legacy while rallying modern civil rights leaders and communities to take collective action. The brand needed to inspire pride, action, and unity, driving resources to today’s civil rights movement. Additionally, it had to be recognized as a legitimate force alongside other major movements like the Women’s March in DC, and resonate with both donors and the mass audience.

Making his father proud.

IMPACT

Working directly with MLK III, Arndrea Waters King, and their advisory team, we built a brand identity that has become a rallying point for modern civil rights efforts. The Drum Major Coalition’s identity was crafted to be bold, action-oriented, and rooted in the powerful legacy of MLK. From social media to web development, strategic storytelling to video content, we ensured that the brand was cohesive and impactful across all platforms. The brand has since gained recognition, including features in NowThis Impact and at major events like the Women’s March in DC.

As a result, the Drum Major Coalition now stands as a force to be reckoned with—mobilizing donors, supporters, and civil rights leaders to continue the fight for justice with immense resources and a unified vision.
